Adult Substance Abuse Group

Our program use a multidisciplinary approach that targets substance
abusing or substance dependent males and females over the age of 18.

 

Goals for this group:

• Provide psychoeducation about the effects of drug use and co-dependency.
• Assist clients in recognizing and identifying triggers and developing a relapse prevention plan to prevent future relapses.
• Explain how addiction affects the entire family.
• Assist client in discovering healthy, safe coping strategies to deal with stressors and future life changes.
